Rancid Mare	Posted - 2004.08.03 14:49:00 - [1] Hi Hardin.... concerning the venue..... i can have a word with our sales chap who coveres the london region.....with a bit of luck he may be able to secure a decent place were you can have a sectioned off area just for your event or maybe even a function room free of charge ? drop me an email at [email protected] i will find out who covers the london area and make some enquires to see what can be had..... Rancid Mare	Posted - 2004.08.14 10:37:00 - [3] Update on venue !!! i have been working with Hardin on finding a venue as i happen to work in the trade as such.... unfortunatly my bloke who covers the london area is on hols for the next week or so...so nothing can be confired until then. what i can tell you is.... It will be a central london location (on the tube network) there will be a private area just for eve peoples attending this ****up.... trying very hard to get some conssesion on beer. possibly first heineken free for all people as they arrive. (I SAID POSSIBLY so dont grunt if theres no free beer) also trying very hard to secure some freebies to give out. nothing grand just a few Heineken caps/bags/tshirts etc something for you to take home with you to remind you of the wicked night out. as more info becomes avaliable either Hardin or myself will keep peeps updated. Rancid Mare	Posted - 2004.10.01 15:14:00 - [13] FINAL UPDATE ON VENUE Sports Cafe 80 Haymarket London, SW1Y 4TE United Kingdom Kick off around 5.30pm. you are welcome to get there beforhand and have a drink in the public area. Engaland kick off is at 3pm that saturday i beleave so it will be busy...... we have the "Players Lounge" all to ourselves (after 5.30pm), follow the signs for "Heineken" when you arrive. if during the evening you need any help or assitance then please seek out either Hardin (Niall) or RancidMare (Colin) can i ask that people do bahave in a respectfull manner, i have pulled a favour or two to secure the venue and some goodies etc... make me and hardin look like ****s and we will not be best pleased....now im a big bloke..but that hardin is one monster of a chap.... one last word of advice....Keep yer hands of my wife. not that i care..but youll never get rid of the cow if you do. Met the famous Montgomery Burns....... actualy a nice bloke for a forum warrior...... (he said i had to say warrior and not down right hoe) 2. all the tall basts standing right close to devs when dishing out of t-shirts etc.... gready mofos....like i need to hear a load of underfed tall people banging out about "I Managed to get 2 t-shirts and 1 keyring"... 3. Founder member of the CA falling about off his trolly by 9pm. he was a nice bloke until he lost all abilty to speak... mabye he was trying to impress me missis with his abilty to hold beer. 4. was almost a bust up when some proper clarts turned up in their trakkies...for a moment i tought it was gonna all kick off with some bouncer who looks like he was one of the all blacks. 5. meeting some Devs.....there were 3 of them at the bash... the one name that was instantly recognised was T20. and no they are not normal and would look totaly at home in some Dev Managa style film.....esecaly T20 who if im not mistaken was sporting a rather Ming the merciless goaty. the funniest part of the night was at the very start..... there are 4 of us standing all by ourselves in this roped off area.. no Eve signs or nothing.... so we gotta figure out which people are here for the eve meet and who are just regular punters. so we disvised this method.... Q1. do they look like they hav seen sunlight over the last year ? If Yes = Regular Punter.. If No = GoTo Q2 Q2. do they look as if they are holding regular sexual liasion with a a member of the opposite sex ? if Yes = Regular punter If No = Goto Q3 Q3.
